Dubai, your uberX is arriving now

uberX hits the roads today, April 17th, as a pilot project in partnership with the RTA, and part of our commitment to introduce an affordable solution to help our riders get around.

During the pilot, only a select number of riders will have access to request uberX.

In the first phase, we will invite selected existing Uber partner drivers to join the uberX pilot, so you are likely to be picked up in a Toyota Previa, Toyota Prado or even a Lexus sedan.

Upon the success of this pilot, we aim to roll out a more affordable selection of vehicles in order to sustain low fares for everyday riders, while reducing operating costs for partner drivers.
